My Week In Beauty #5 2014

Hello everybody!
This week I handed in my last assignments and then I enjoyed a bit of free time and lots of good food. So, let’s take a look at all the photo’s I took this week.

I’ve been trying out lots of different healthy snacks lately. Here you see apple with peanut butter which is really good! But I’ll definitely do a blog posts on healthy snacks soon because I’ve found so many lovely ones.

I made my own granola! I think I’ll do a recipe on this once I’ve perfected it.

A really good friend of mine came up with the idea to start a blog together! We just can’t think of a good name yet but I’m super excited to get started.

I’ve been getting back into drawing. I haven’t done this for such a long time and I’ve missed it. I need to do this more often.

And I worked on my latte art. I stopped practicing for a while so now I have to start all over again, haha.

I hope you enjoyed!

My Week In Beauty #4 2014

Hello everybody!
I had an amazing week, and I took lost of photos so let’s get started before I ramble on and on again.

I cleaned up my makeup collection, and this is all stuff I never used so I’m giving it away to a friend who’ll probably get a lot more use out of it. It feels great to be organized and throw stuff out.

My favourite afternoon snack lately. This is soy yoghurt with flaxseed, pumpkin seeds, almonds and raisins. Yum!

And my new favourite nail length. Yes, I have a favourite nail length. Don’t judge. I love long nails but they’re really impractical (especially when I’m at my part-time job) so I’ve been liking them like this. Not too long, not too short.

I’ve so rediscovered my love for mascara on my lower lashes. I used to wear it all the time but it kept smudging on me so I stopped. But now I’m wearing it again because it makes my eyes look big and doll-like and I love it. I can’t believe I ever stopped.

I got some new skincare in the post! I’m trying this moisturizer at the moment, and I’m liking it so far but it’s a bit too early to tell really. I’ll definitely write about it once I’ve been using it for a month or so.

Taking a bath with Candy Mountain from Lush. It was lovely and I could use a bit of relaxation because…

… on Sunday I a model at Amsterdam Fashion Week! ERMAHGERD it was amazing and I’m still trying to comprehend the fact that I was actually on the runway at AFW. It was brilliant.

My 2013 favourites

Hello everybody!
I know this post is a bit late since we’re already coming to the end of January but I figured: better late than never. Right? It is quite a long list, so we’d better get started.

Pink hair
Of course this is a favourite! I love my pink hair. In April I finally decided to dye it and I haven’t regretted it for a second. It’s just fabulous.

Wet ‘n Wild Megalast Lipsticks
I discovered these lipsticks near the end of 2013 but they are so lovely they just had to be on this list. Loving the colours too, they all suit me very well. And such a bargain!

Essence All About Matt Powder
Again, a complete bargain and such a great product too. Keeps my T-zone looking matte and it doesn’t leave an ashy or grey wash on the skin.

Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 107
Lovely dark wine-coloured lipstick that suits me very well. It’s not expensive and the colour payoff is great and it wears beautifully.

Chanel Vitalumière Aqua Foundation
A lovely foundation. It gives a light coverage, and it’s almost invisible on the skin. It also wears lovely throughout the day. Only downside is the price but I think it’s worth it.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeliner in Taupe
It doesn’t look like much but this is a brilliant eyeliner. It’s perfect for giving that defined look to your lower lash line without being too harsh or heavy.

Essie Nourishing Base Coat
The photo above just speaks for itself doesn’t it? I love this stuff, it keeps my nails strong yet flexible so they don’t break as easily.

A great (eye)makeup remover. Brilliant for on the go. It’s really gentle, so I use it for removing my eye makeup and it just works really well.

L’oreal Telescopic Mascara
A great mascara if you’re a fan of very dramatic lashes. It takes a while to get used to the brush, but once you get the hang of it, it gives gorgeous results.

Mac Ruby Woo Lipstick
The perfect red lipstick. Slightly blue-toned and very, very matte which is brilliant because that makes it last all night/day with minimal touch-ups.

Yves Rocher Lash Plumping Mascara
A great lengthening mascara. It doesn’t add as much volume and drama as the L’oreal Telescopic but it lengthens very well. It makes your lashes look long and fluffy, so a great daytime mascara.

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Nectar
Last but not least this gorgeous product! I can look at it for ages, it really it that beautiful. It gives an incredible glow and also a bit of colour so it can be used as a blush if you want something very subtle. Just lovely.

I hope you enjoyed!
